Broadcasting Radio Station

UPDATE:

The LIBYAN AID Team successfully shipped these broadcasting equipment to Misrata last August 2011, to establish an FM Radio station ranging 600km, broadcasting to the west side of Libya to help overthrow Gaddafi's regime. During the course of its operation, it was initially stationed in Marbat area - Misrata; the station was then moved to Syarat after the liberation of Tripoli which was used for the same purpose. The FM frequency of this station is 91.1 kHz under the name of TRIPOLI RADIO.

Summary of Libyan Aid Dubai Accomplishments

We are proud that we are one (1) of the first Aid Institution to support our Libyan people in the uprising against the dictator and brutal regime starting from the 22 Feb. until our victory. With a total 92shipments mostly by air with items such as:

·         Medicines and Medical Equipments

·         Food Stuffs and Baby’s Milk

·         Tents, Clothing and Garments

·         Military Vehicles (Land cruisers)

·         Military Radio Communication Equipments

·         Computers, VSAT, GPS and Satellite Phones

·         Military Long Range Night Vision Equipments

·         Military Boats, Marine Equipments and Accessories

·         Military Vest and Helmets

·         FM Radio Broadcasting Equipments

Our team handled all logistic works to restore the mobile network “LIBYANA” in Bengazi and the Eastern Region which started 21st of MARCH 2011 and also the restoration of “AL MADAR” cellular network for Misrata from 1^st JUNE 2011

Second Batch of the Food Stuffs - Dressed Chicken

Aug. 18, 2011 was day when Libyan Aid Dubai sent the second batch of Dressed Chicken (108,760tons) to Misrata. Below are some of photos taken.

 As continued effort of Libyan Aid Dubai to support the people of Libya especially the youth, the team has sent three (3) full container load of Infants Milk to Misrata.

Libyan Aid Dubai has sent several quantities of vaccines for tetanus, tubercolosis, pneumonia and more for Hospitals in Misrata
